Hi folks -

Just a quick post to welcome everyone to the NEW AND IMPROVED Acrostics.org. We've been around for over a year now but only recently have we had a chance to complete the intended build, with user accounts, competitive play, high score hall of fame, and much much more. Those of you who are familiar with our other Puzzle Baron sites like www.cryptograms.org and www.wordtwist.org will be familiar with the new setup here at www.acrostics.org - the rest of you, don't worry, you'll get the hang of it!

Registration is completely FREE and OPTIONAL. You don't need to register an account, and you can solve acrostic puzzles here just as you've been doing for the past year if you like. However, those who do choose to register an account will have all of their solving statistics tracked and tallied to their personal scorecard, and will be automatically entered into our Hall of Fame competition. There's other perks as well, such as private messaging, being able to post to our forums, and (eventually) participating in our online chat room.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and give a little info about the site upgrades. We're still working on things so you might see a bit of "virtual dust" around here for the next week or so, but if you have any problems or questions, please feel free to post them here or email them to me at admin@cryptograms.org.

Since you announced the Acrostic Hall of Fame in November, 2008, I would call this a burial rather than a dusting.
But the puzzles are great; so I'll be patient....
